The proceedings from the 11. Scientific Wadden Sea Symposium deals with evaluation and revision of the current Trilateral Monitoring and Assessment Programme (TMAP) to meet the requirements in particular with regard to the Targets, the EU Birds, Habitats and Water Framework Directives. Papers are also presenting results from the existing TMAP, methodologies, experiences from the existing monitoring programmes and the results of new monitoring methods.
