Risk assessment

In 2015, Ramboll needed a risk assessment of the spread of World War II gases in the Baltic Sea when the planned North Stream 2 gas pipeline was to be laid between Germany and Russia. The choice naturally went to Hans Sanderson and Patrick Fauser from DCE – Danish Centre for Environment and Energy. This is the explanation provided by Project Manager Jørn Bo Larsen from Ramboll, who not only experienced good collaboration with the research team, but also valued the international recognition achieved by Hans Sanderson and Patrik Fauser from DCE.

“It’s good working with internationally recognised researchers when their results must be assessed. This way all the countries involved in the project know that the completed risk assessment is in order.”
