Small particles, big consequences.
I study how Arctic aerosols respond to global warming and how they reshape clouds and the balance of sunlight and heat—driving radiative forcing and climate feedbacks. I combine field campaigns with controlled chamber experiments, satellite observations, and modeling to connect particles to clouds to climate. I’m now expanding into gases and Arctic microbiology for a more comprehensive picture of a transforming Arctic.
