Health and Society

Human health is affected by environmental pressures that we are exposed to in our livelihoods and work places –the way we live and where we live and move around have effects on our health. Environmental pressures affect us by the food we eat, the way we transport ourselves, the air we breathe and where and how we recreate.

Some of the questions we analyse include:

  • Use of big data from registers and spatial data sources for mapping and modelling environmental exposure and health effects
  • Air pollution and health related to transport and energy
  • Valuation of externalities.
