Various filters in the landscape for reducing nitrogen and phosphorus losses to the aquatic environment

The purpose of the meeting is to provide an overview of the prospects for reducing nitrogen and phosphorus losses to the aquatic environment via the use of filters in the landscape.

International and Danish experts will present various filters, from constructed wetlands with and without filter matrix, bioreactor (compact filter matrix), controlled drainage, various kinds of buffer zones, bio-chemical reactors with low power electrodes, etc., but also the advantage of Paludiculture.

Speakers will predominantly be scientists with ongoing activities in the field.

The expected audiences include agricultural organisations, agricultural and engineering consultancies, NGOs, national and local authorities.
